Cola-Cola launch month long Ramadan campaign

Dhaka : Celebrating 55 years of Coca-Cola in Bangladesh and on the occasion of Ramadan this year has launched 'Taste The Seheri' and 'Bashay Iftar' campaign.

Food lovers of Dhaka will be able to taste different types of new food in Sehri during Ramadan. The foodies upon buying Coca-Cola and Food Combo in selected 63 popular restaurants will get free Seheri Nights ticket. Additionally, consumers can also win tickets to Seheri Nights by taking photos with the Coca-Cola and Food combo and posting it on their Facebook with #TasteTheSehri. Moreover, consumers also get a chance to win a 2.25 litre bottle of Coca-Cola by participating in a game called 'Puzzle in thirties'.

This year, Coca-Cola has organized 'Bashay Iftar' campaign for the fourth consecutive time. The main objective of 'Bashay Iftar' campaign is to create a happy moment for people and to bring their families and friends closer over an Iftar meal by celebrating Ramadan's spirit of sharing and togetherness.

The campaign is also broadcast in Radio Foorti and will continue till 25th Ramadan, and during this period every day one participant will be declared winner. The listeners answering all questions correctly on Radio Foorti, the winners will receive Iftar along with a case of Coca-Cola on behalf of Coca-Cola family.

A 20-day campaign will also broadcast by Nagorik Television. During the campaign, a QR code will be displayed on television screen from 3pm to 8pm and from 10pm to 12pm. The participants will be taken to the Coca-Cola website, by scanning the QR code displayed on the television screen through their mobile phones. The participants will have to answer a simple question and give detailed information about that answer. Everyday 10 winners will receive a case of Coca-Cola as gift.

Sadab Khan, Managing Director, Coca-Cola Bangla-desh explained that the campaign during Ramadan, everyone spends their Iftar and Seheri time with their families and loved ones.

"We believe that significance of Ramadan is in building closeness and bonding within the family members, by bringing the family together to share and enjoy their meal with each other. The Coca-Cola family hopes that this campaign will enhance a pleasant experience of this blessed month, by making it more delightful to enjoy the gracious moments with family, friends and loved ones."
