Dhaka: Etihad Airways will begin operating its A380 aircraft on the Abu Dhabi-Narita route starting 16 June 2026, in time for the peak summer season.

The airline’s flagship double-decker will offer its renowned flying experience, including the exclusive three-room suite, The Residence.

Arik De, Etihad's Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, expressed excitement about introducing the A380 to Japan, highlighting the aircraft’s popularity among passengers across all classes, from Economy to First and The Residence.

The new service will boost connectivity between Abu Dhabi and Japan, offering more travel options for Japanese tourists and enhancing the UAE capital’s appeal as a stopover or destination.

Tokyo joins Etihad’s A380 destinations, which include London, Paris, Toronto, and Singapore.

Flights are now available for booking.
