Taste of Australia at Radisson Blu Dhaka from March 17

Dhaka : The premium hospitality property in the city will Radisson Blu Water Garden will host a food festival “Taste of Australia” from March 17 to 26 at their Water Garden Brasserie Restaurant.

“The hotel organises such festivals to bring different food varieties of the world close to the Bangladeshi people and this time they will come in touch with Australian food delights. We hope the festival will satisfy the taste-buds of the people.” said Christoph Voegeli, General Manager of Radisson Blu Water Garden .

The festival will feature menu with ingredients like meats, lentils, chickpeas spices, herbs, etc from Australia.

“The menu will mainly focus on Australian produce and will be presented in a newer refined way to harmonise with a more modern Australia,” said Radisson’s Executive Chef Jed.

Guests will be offered with an impressive assortment of the Aussie delicacy pies of beef, chicken , pigeon and others. Special attraction will be the whole Australian goat or lamb grilled over the spit on the charcoal, on the spot. Australian desserts like lamingtons (sponge cake with Australian syrup), classic pavalova will also be available.

The hotel management plans to give the festival venue an Australian look and ambience with the help of eucalyptus ,scenography ,aboriginal art and pieces and other inherent features of the country. On March 24, the festival will settle itself by the poolside to deliver a romantic, barbecue experience for which Australia is famous for.

The food festival is supported by Thai Airways, Pepsi ,Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney and Radisson Blu Chittagong Bay View.

Guests of the festival will have the opportunity to win return air tickets to Sydney for two persons on Thai Airways along with complimentary stay at Radisson Blu Plaza Sydney as the first prize of the raffle draw, to be organized on the occasion.
