Sonargaon Hotel hosts Iftar party for unprivileged children

Dhaka : Leading five star property-Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel hosted an Iftar party for the unprivileged children of the city on Monday May 31, 2017 at its Grand Ballroom. More than five hundred children from different children welfare organisations were served with the iftar, followed by dinner..

Rashed Khan Menon, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, S. M. Ghulam Farooque, Chairman, K.M. Abdus Salam, Managing Director of Hotels International Limited. Eldridge J Mac Ewan, General Manager of the Hotel joined the children at the party, among others.

“Through this function in the month of holy Ramadan, the underprivileged children of the city have got the opportunity to come to this five star hotel – Pan Pacific Sonargaon, mostly visited by the affluent figures of the country. This initiative will help bridge the gap between the well off and the deprived section of the society”, said General Manager of the hotel.

Children from Jamey Ambarshah Madrasa and Yatimkhana, Rahmatullah Noor Hafijia Madrasha and Yatimkhana, Jamia Islamiya Nur-Ul-Quran Madrasa and Yatimkhana, Hazrat Shahponthi Kasemul Ulum Madrasa and Yatimkhana, ASHIC Foundation, Ahsania Mohila Mission and many others, were invited on the occasion.
