: Cathay Pacific on August 12 announced that Ahmed Reza has been appointed as the airline’s Country Manager – Bangladesh and Bhutan with effect from August 1. Reza will be responsible for overseeing the Cargo and Passenger business and operations of Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon in Bangladesh and will be based in Dhaka.
Reza has over 22 years of experience in the airline industry where he has worked in different capacities and handled diverse responsibilities. He joined Cathay Pacific in March 2015 as a Sales and Marketing Manager – Bangladesh and Bhutan and undertook the responsibilities of all commercial and marketing activities.
He was with British Airways for 15 years handling different roles in the Bangladesh Sales team, following which, he worked with RAK Airways PJSC, UAE as Country Manager, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Reza has completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing in 2003 from East West University (EWU) in Dhaka. He is married with a 10-year old-daughter.
