As pilot falls sick, Qatar Airways diverts Trivandrum-Doha flight

Dhaka: A Qatar Airways flight from Indian city of Trivandrum to Doha was diverted to Goa as the pilot fell sick midway to its destination The flight landed at Goa International airport by its First Officer.
A statement from the Airline on November 11 states “Flight QR507 TRV-DOH was diverted to Goa International Airport early this morning. One hour and forty minutes after departure from Trivandrum International Airport, our pilot fell ill.”
Qatar Airways send a relief aircraft to Goa to fetch the passengers and the flight landed at the Hamad international Airport at around 18:27 as per information available at the airline’s website.
“The safety, comfort and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is our utmost priority, and we have sent a relief aircraft to Goa to accommodate all passengers on a new flight to Doha” the statement published added.
