Biman Hajj flights begins from July 14

Dhaka: Biman Bangladesh Airlines, first Hajj flight begins from July 14.
The inaugural Hajj flight BG-1011 will depart from Dhaka at 07:55am.
Minister for Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism A K M Shahjahan Kamal will inaugurate the first Biman Hajj Flight, while Religious Affairs Minister Matiur Rahman will also attend the programme in the morning at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka.
The Biman authorities have requested all travel agencies who have booked tickets between July 25 to August 10, to collect tickets prior to issuance of Hajj visa, according to a decision of Bangladesh government.
Many ticketing agencies have not collected booked tickets and nearly 12,500 tickets remain unsold, said a press release of Bangladesh Biman.
It was also said that according to strict notification by the Saudi Arabia government, the Biman Bangladesh will not be allowed additional flights, accept for the decided slots of Hajj flights.
