: Nepal Embassy in Bangladesh celebrated Nation-al Day of Nepal at its Chancery in Baridhara Diplo-matic Enclave in on Septem-ber 20.
The reception was graced by Nepa-lese in their traditional look and the smells of delicious dishes turned the chancery festive for a few hours.
The National Day of Nepal is celebrated to commemorate the Promulgation of the Constitution by the Consti-tution Assembly on Septem-ber 20, 2015.
Nepal is expecting Bangla-desh's investment in the sectors where Nepal holds comparative advantage. The sectors are hydropower, infrastructures, information-technology, tourism and manufacturing industries, Prof Chop Lal said.
Bangladesh's rapid industrialisation and prosperity has become a role model for least developed and developing countries. Nepal is keenly observing it economic development, the Ambas-sador said.
At the reception Commerce Minis-ter Tofail Ahmed attended as chief guest and cut the celebration cake with Nepal Amba-ssador Prof. Dr Chop Lal Bhusal.
Speaking at the celebration, Nepal Ambassador Prof Bhusal said Nepal and Bangladesh are very close and friendly neighbours.
Ambassadors, foreign diplomats and officials of Bangladesh Foreign Ministry were present on the occasion, among others.
