Kuwait Airways carries over 190 thousand pax from BD in 2022: CEO

Dhaka : Bangladesh has been an important destination for Kuwait Airways in the year 2022 as the airline carried over 190 thousand passengers to and from the market on 770 flights with an average of nine frequencies a week. 

Maen Mahmoud Razouqi, CEO of Kuwait Airways said this virtually at the Annual Agent Conference-Bangladesh 2023 held in the capital recently where Kuwait Airways' GSA in Bangladesh Total air services Ltd awarded top 20 travel agencies of the airline in the country. 

The CEO shared the airline was able to meet all the targets for 2022 and now its ambition is to continue double digit growth. 
He sees a huge market for carrying Bangladeshis beyond Kuwait to Europe. 

"We continue to serve new destinations in Europe. We understand that there is lot of opportunity to connect Dhaka via Kuwait to Europe," said the CEO, adding, "We are also considering additional frequencies in other parts of the US." 

The CEO expressed his hope that with the strong support of all the agents and stakeholders, Kuwait airways will achieve the targets of 2023 and onward in Bangladesh. 

Razouqi highlighted that Kuwait Airways always prefer to participate with such engagement with their partners to work closer and there is nothing more important than to grow beyond excellence. The strategy for transformation for the airline is to work hand on hand with the partners all around the globe. 

The CEO expressed his wish to seat in person with stakeholders in the near future to understand their needs better and what the airline could do from its side to help. 

At the event, the CEO mentioned that Kuwait Airways will continue to grow stronger with support from all partners and will always put customers first. 

Kuwait Airways is innovative, creative and open to any positive change as the airline continues to thrive and transform to achieve its targets.
