Airline honours top agents at a gala event

Passengers flying the airline, will take away Kuwait Airways experience

Dhaka : To cater to the Bangladesh market, Kuwait Airways has taken several steps including introduction of new destinations and opening of the new dedicated terminal in Kuwait.

Abu Amin Khan Chowdhury, Manager, Bangladesh, Kuwait Airways said this while addressing the Agents Award Ceremony-2018, hosted by Kuwait Airways at hotel Amari Dhaka in the city on January 31.

Speaking on the occasion Abu Amin Khan Chowdhury said, there has also been some product enhancements which the passengers will be able to experience while they fly on the airline.

When Bangladeshi passengers fly on Kuwait Airways, they will be taking something away - the Kuwait Airways experience, he said.

The airline is also largely indebted to the staff who maintain and expand the scope of service, they provide.

Kuwait Airways Manager Bangladesh said, "I am always delighted and surprised by the sense of ownership and real pride, all our employees take in the airline."

He said the airline hosted the gala event to thank travel trade partners individually and sincerely for the support, they had shown and continued to show to Kuwait Airways in Bangladesh.

He said, “Your support gives us energy and a sense of purpose to better serve you. Your unparalleled support had been one of the contributing factors towards our success.

Abu Amin Khan Chowdhury said the aviation industry is going through a time of rapid changes. Kuwait Airways understands the importance of being in the mainstream of the change and added, “We have extensive programmes lined over the next few months.”

The Manager thanked Adel Mohammed AH Hayat, Ambassador of Kuwait in Bangladesh, for his presence on the occasion.

He also thanked Wings Tours and Travels, the GSA of the airline in Bangladesh, travel trade partners, the hotel and the airline's local staff for making the fabulous event a memorable one.

Speaking on the occasion, Mizanur Rahman, Managing Director, Wings Tours and Travels, said, “The partnership (of the GSA) with Kuwait Airways goes a long way, beyond a decade. We have received loyal support from our travel trade partners.”

Mizanur Rahman informed Kuwait Airways has gone for brand new fleet, more frequencies from Dhaka, added comfort and enhanced inflight services.

“With the new destinations I am sure, it is a very competitive product to market,” he told the travel trade partners.

Kuwait Airways, the only airline currently offering First Class from Dhaka, has been conducting flights successfully across their network for the last 65 years and operating to Bangla-desh for the last 37 years.

Speeches over, Ambassador Adel Mohammed AH Hayat handed over crests and certificates to the top agents.

The gala event concluded with a scintillating cultural programme.
