US-Bangla Airlines adds brand new ATR 72-600 to its fleet

Dhaka : US-Bangla Airlines has strengthened its fleet by adding a brand new ATR 72-600 aircraft which landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka on March 24 at 1:40 pm.

The new 72-seater aircraft was formally welcomed by Imran Asif, CEO and other Directors of US-Bangla Airlines. The ceremony was also attended by the senior officials of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).

US-Bangla becomes the first private airline to bring a brand new aircraft directly from the manufacturer. It started from Francazal Airport, France on March 22 for delivery in Dhaka.

With the new ATR 72-600, the airline now has a total of eight aircraft in its fleet. Besides the ATR, they have three Dash 8-Q 400 and four Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Daily flights to Sylhet

US-Bangla Airlines started operate three flights daily on Dhaka-Sylhet-Dhaka route from March 31.

To cater to the needs of Sylhet residents, US-Bangla launched an evening flight after the existing noon flight from September 12, 2018 on Dhaka-Sylhet-Dhaka route. From March 31, the airline commenced operations for a new morning flight on the same route.
