US-Bangla launches flight to Kolkata

Dhaka : US-Bangla Airlines resumed flights on Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka route from October 21 under air bubble agreement signed between Bangladesh and India. 
The flights will leave Dhaka at 9:45 am every Thursday and Saturday while the return flights will depart Kolkata at 11:00 am on the same days. 
Passengers will have to obtain Covid-19 negative test report within 72 hours before departure. They will also need to undergo Covid-19 tests at their own expense after arrival in Kolkata. 
The fare on Dhaka-Kolkata route one-way is BDT 7,226 while the return fare is BDT 12,733. 
US-Bangla is operating Boeing 737-800 with 164 seat capacity on Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka route.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh accepted the Indian counterpart's proposal for resuming flights between the two countries under air bubble agreement on September 4. 
Later, both countries decided to increase the flight frequency under air bubble from seven to 21 per week per country.   
Maldives holiday package 
The largest private carrier of the country US-Bangla Airlines is going to start direct flights from Dhaka to Male, the capital of Maldives, from November 19, 2021. With this, the airline has announced attractive Maldives holiday packages for travel enthusiasts, effective from November 19 to December 20.
The packages start from BDT 58,990 per person. Two nights and three days, Dhaka-Male-Dhaka air ticket all inclusive, airport-hotel-airport travel, breakfast and many other facilities are available in the tour package. 
It may be mentioned here that US-Bangla Airlines is going to operate three weekly flights on Dhaka-Male-Dhaka route.
Passengers can avail US-Bangla's holiday packages under six-months interest free EMI facility through various banks and financial institutions.
