Dhaka : MA Rashid Shah Shamrat, Chairman of Makkah Group of Companies and President of Flight Expert has been elected as the Director of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) for the term of 2021-2023.
Recently he has been assigned for aviation, travel, tourism and hospitality wings of DCCI. Since 1996, he has been serving several DCCI's standing committees. Then he was designated as Co-convener for the term 2015-2017. Lastly before being elected as Director, he served as Convener of DCCI for the term 2018-2020.
Shamrat was also the Governor of Lions Clubs International District 315A2 Bangladesh, for 2013-14.
