Russian city Sochi to host over 6,000 participants during Atomexpo 2019

Sochi : 11th International nuclear power Forum Atomexpo 2019 is scheduled for April 15 and 16 in the Russia's southern city of Sochi. Over 6000 participants from 60 plus countries including Bangladesh will come together to share their knowledge, expertise and best practices in the field of nuclear energy. Dedicated to the advanced modern nuclear power technologies, the two-day event will cover global issues including carbon-free energy, responsible approach to the environment and natural resources, "Green" investments and international partnership for sustainable development among many others. Industry leaders, representatives of international, national and public organisations, Russian and foreign companies, and experts in the field of modern nuclear science will take part in different programs and business sessions during the Forum.
The opening day of the forum will feature the second Atomexpo Awards ceremony, an international professional accolade to celebrate the achievements of nuclear energy companies for their outstanding services towards contribution to and development of the nuclear industry and its benefit for humankind.
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency, the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) and the World Nuclear Association are the business partners of the event.
Atomexpo is considered to be one of the most important MICE events in the world, which has been growing every year. The 10th Atomexpo in 2018 attracted over 4,000 delegates and guests from 68 countries. Over 600 companies took part in the event.
