Dhaka : Hotel Sarina is organising theme nights for the entire month of July, offering a different cuisine each day of the week.
A press conference was held on July 1 at the hotel premise to announce the launch of the event where Ayub Khan, F&B Manager, Sree Nair, Operation Manager and GM, Md Ali Chowdhury, Director of Finance and Dominic Gomes, Executive Chef from Hotel Sarina were present.
Sree Nair, Operation Manager and GM, Hotel Sarina, said, "Even though, we are initially doing theme nights for the month of July only, however, we are planning to hold such events for the entire year."
The hotel's signature buffet restaurant Summerfield is serving seven different cuisines in seven days of the week in its cozy setting.
On Sunday, the menu is Italian consisting of pizza, pasta and many other delectable items. Arabian is the theme for Monday, featuring roti, kebab, swarma and many other Lebanese and Egyptian dishes.
On Tuesday, guests are able to indulge in delicious Indian cuisine. Interestingly, the theme for Wednesday is Healthy Night, serving low fat food with organic ingredients so that those who are a bit health conscious do not feel left out.
For Thai food lovers, Thursday is stir fried night offering Thai and Chinese cuisine.
Friday is surf and turf night which is full of experiments. The counter has plenty of flavours from Pacific Rim.
Lastly, on Saturday, guests are able to enjoy international foods.
Also, live cooking stations are there every night so that guests can enjoy the delight of watching culinary arts as well as be sure of the authenticity of the dishes.
To add more freshness to the feast, there is a salad bar of assorted vegetables and a dessert corner for the guests' guiltiest pleasures. They are also able to enjoy drinks of their own choice from the counter.
The buffet price for theme nights is BDT 3500 net per person.
