Anjan's trendy Eid collection

Dhaka : Every year Anjan's, one of the top fashion houses of the country, brings something new and outstanding for the fashion enthusiasts. There is no exception this year too.

Keeping up with the trend, Anjan's launched its Eid-ul-Fitr collection at an event followed by a fashion show.

Giving priority to jamdani, Islamic, geometric and floral motifs, Anjan's has brought out a wide range of saree, shalwar-kameez, panjabi, shirt, tops and other items in its Eid collection. There is also a distinct variation in cutting and pattern.

They have introduced "Art of Blue" and "Margin" to mark this Eid. "Art of Blue" stands for ethnic and traditional fusion, while 'Margin' for western fashion.

They unveiled "Margin" items like kameez, casual shirt and cotton pant, tops, palazzo, jeans, t-shirts. "The Art of Blue" has brought out Salwar-Kameez, saree, Panjabi, shirt with indigo dye, block print. All the attires have been made in the fusion of blue colour.

Anjans emphasised on cotton cloth, keeping the summer and rainy season in the mind for its Eid collections.

Usually they do not use motif on their Eid collections but this year they changed the trend, Geometric and floral motif is used in the dress collections of both males and females.

There was allegation by the teenagers that they did not get their desired fitting dresses from the Anjans.

So the house fixed this issue this year. They have brought out various designs suited to the likings of the teenagers. They have used 10 to 12 colours to apply on their Eid collections.

Anjans staffers observed that occasional party dress is high in demand during the Eid. In those party dresses they used bright colours to make it grander. They brought up outright changes in the design in neck and sleeve. Different pattern is used in kameez's width.

Embroidery print is used in cotton, cotton silk, Rajshahi silk, half silk for male and female collections also, specially keeping the summer season in mind.

Parice range for salwar kamiz is from BDT 2000-8000, saree BDT 1000-15000, Panjabi BDT 1000-5000, children's collections is from BDT 500-3000.

One can get also the jewellery like bangles, earring, necklaces, rings, and other jewelleries made of silver, copper, metals, stone and pearl which are designed by Laila Khair Kanak, who is the CEO of KanakT Jewellery Palace, designed the jewelleries for Eid collection.
