Dhaka : To "Bring Quality in Life," Akij Food and Beverage Limited (AFBL) has diversified its business in food and beverage industry in Bangladesh.
Akij Group in fact wants to bring all under the same umbrella by continuously serving quality food to the country's people.
In the beverage industry, there are many local and foreign companies. However, Akij aims to be a local company that is by all means equal to a foreign one.
Hindol Roy, Head of Marketing, AFBL said, "The beverage industry produces products catering to impulses. Thus, they need continual changes. We never compromise with quality. We use the best technology for making products."
Thereby AFBL wants to prove that even a local company could outshine any foreign company in terms of providing quality products.
"We want to produce international standard products. We have a great team dedicated for digital marketing, but we are going to change our approach to make it easy to communicate with the consumers," Hindol informed.
For this purpose, AFBL produces CSD for young target groups who like to lead a quality life.
"In 2019, we are coming up with some new products like labang, borhani, cheese pup, corn pup, doi, mango bar, 45 flavoured milk, snacks, noodles, juice with pulp and candy at affordable price," he added.
"We have taken up a plan to introduce our products through gaming and educational apps, youtube and facebook. Frootika is popular product of ours. So we have plenty of plans to make it even bigger. In addition, we are going to launch double cricket. We want to do some Clemon sports activities too this year," the marketing head said.
Hindol Roy is the Head of Marketing at Akij Food and Beverage Limited. Prior to joining AFBL, Hindol worked in a diverse set of organisations including TATA AIG Life Insurance, Pepsi, and Kohinoor Chemical Co (BD) Ltd spanning multiple countries.
