Dhaka: Biman Bangladesh Airlines on February 18 resumed its scheduled passenger flight services to Kathmandu in Nepal.
The flight operations between the capitals of the two countries were suspended from March last year as the Himalayan country halted on-arrival visa services over coronavirus concerns.
On February 18, the flag carrier resumed commercial services on the route with the flight BG-071 which left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 2:40 pm with 106 passengers, said a press release.
Now, Biman is operating regular flights on the Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka route every Monday and Thursday, added the release.
