Dhaka: The largest private carrier of the country US-Bangla Airlines is going to start flights to Dubai from February 1. It will operate seven weekly flights from Dhaka to Dubai, announced the carrier in a press release.
The flight will depart Dhaka at 06:30 pm on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays every week and will reach Dubai at 10:00 pm on the following days. The return flight will depart Dubai at 11:30 pm on the same scheduled days and will reach Dhaka at 06:00 am on the following days.
On Tuesdays, the flight will start from Dhaka at 05:30 pm and will reach Dubai at 09:00 pm on the next day. The return flight will start from Dubai at 10:30 pm on the same day and land in Dhaka at 05:00 am on the next day.
On Wednesdays, the flight will depart Dhaka at 03:55 pm and will reach Dubai at 07:25 pm. The return flight will start from Dubai at 08:55 pm on the scheduled day and will reach Dhaka at 03:25 am on the next day.
On Saturdays, the flight will start from Dhaka at 05:00 pm and will reach Dubai at 08:30 pm the next day while the return flight will start for Dhaka at 09:55 pm on the scheduled day and will reach at 04:25 am on the next day. All timings are local.
For Economy Class on the Dhaka-Dubai route, the minimum one-way fare is BDT 54,999 while the return fare is BDT 73,000. And on the Dubai-Dhaka route, the minimum one-way fare is AED 1,670 while the return fare is AED 2,753.
For Business Class, the one-way fare is BDT 79,200 and the return fare is BDT 153,526 on Dhaka-Dubai route while on Dubai-Dhaka route, the fares are AED 2,620 and AED 4,453 respectively (including all taxes and surcharges).
The airline further announced its plans to operate flights to various destinations in the Middle East to serve passengers, especially expatriate Bangladeshis.
US-Bangla will soon operate flights to Abu Dhabi too, added the airline.
The carrier currently flies to Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Kolkata, Chennai and Guangzhou. It will soon start operating flights to Male and Colombo as well, said the airline in the press statement.
In the domestic network, the airline operates flights from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar, Chattogram, Sylhet, Saidpur, Jashore, Rajshahi, and Barishal.
Currently, the airline has a total of thirteen aircraft in its fleet, including four Boeing 737-800s and six brand new ATR 72-600s. US-Bangla further mentioned plans to add four more brand new aircraft to the fleet soon.
