bproperty.com acquires lamudi.com.bd in Bangladesh

Mark Nosworthy, CEO, bproperty.com, announces acquisition of lamudi.com.bd in a press conference at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka.
Dhaka: The country’s only real estate marketplace, bproperty.com announces acquisition of lamudi.com.bd, another property portal in Bangladesh, in a press conference taking place on 8th January, 2019 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka.
The deal is a part of bproperty.com’s broader plan to standardise and consolidate real estate services provided to the consumers with the company’s innovative and market leading solution.
The purchase amount remains to be undisclosed in confidence of both parties. The current services of lamudi.com.bd will be wound down and the clients, both consumers and real estate developers, will be transferred to be served by bproperty.com.

Bproperty.com, owned by the Emerging Markets Property Group (EMPG) headquartered in the UAE, was launched in 2015 in Bangladesh. It currently has over 25,000 properties marketed on its website for rent and sale.
The company’s services combine the provision of accurate real estate information with a face to face service delivery through its team of sales advisors located in its sales offices throughout Bangladesh, unlike lamudi.com.bd which only provides information through the portal.
In its effort to provide a world class real estate service, bproperty.com recently launched a number of initiatives including virtual tours of properties to allow consumers to engage with properties efficiently and easily from the comfort of their couches.
The CEO mentioned another reason for consumers to seek their services. He said, “The service is completely free. We work solely on success. We get paid on success of action having a property sold.”
