Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation of Russia invites Bangladeshi journalists to take part in “ASE International Photo Awards”. Atomstroyexport (ASE), the engineering division of Rosatom and General Contractor of Rooppur Nuclear Power Project, organizes the contest. The winners will be awarded a trip to Russia, fully funded by the organizer, among many other attractive prizes.
ASE International Photo Awards is open for the full-time or Part-time Photojournalists from Bangladesh, India, Iran, Egypt, China, Belarus and Hungary, where ASE is currently implementing their nuclear power projects.
“I am thrilled with the magnificent nature of Bangladesh and purest beauty of its people, living in the villages on the way from Dhaka to Pabna, which I have travelled for so many times. I am looking forward to the active participation from Bangladeshi photographers, so they will be able to represent their country at the international level,” said Alexander Khazin, Senior Vice-President of ASE.
Interested photographer may participate with his photo/photos on the subject like ‘people’, ‘cities’ and ‘wildlife’. The special subject is “Energy of the Future”, focusing on the positive impact of nuclear power plant on the peoples life and ecology of the neighboring region.
Participant may send his/her entry with a single photo, a series of up to 5 photos or photo by smartphones or tablets, which were taken on or after January 1, 2018 .
Minor photo processing like cropping, correction of white balance, density correction (Brightness, Contrast) will be allowed. But framed photos, photos with digital manipulation and collages will not be considered for the competition.
The photo works will be accepted by e-mail: email@example.com before February 10,2019. The winners will be selected by a competent international Jury. The best works will be exhibited at the especially arranged photo exhibition.
