Dhaka: Four day Thai Trade Fair under the style ‘Top Thai Brands 2019’ begins on March 27 at the Grand Ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka. Tipu Munshi MP, Minister of Commerce will inaugurate the fair as the chief guest.
76 companies from both Thailand and Bangladesh will showcase their products and services during the fair to be open for visitors from 10 am to 8 pm every day. Bangladeshi companies are mainly those which market Thai products in Bangladesh or act as agents of Thai companies.
Suebsak Dangboonrueng, Minister Counsellor (Commercial), Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka was addressing the media at a press conference held today at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka. Kazi Moazzem Hossian, Assistant Director, F&B, Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka also spoke on the occasion.
“Among other forms carried out by the private sector or the government to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Thailand and Bangladesh, Thailand’s trade fair is one of the best initiatives taken by the Ministry of Commerce of Thai Government,” said Suebsak Dangboonrueng.
Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka will organise a Thai Food Festival at their signature Café Bazar restaurant in conjunction with the Thai Trade Fair.
Major products and services that will be displayed at the fair comprise cosmetic, beauty and wellness products, bedding accessories, spa, electrical appliances, stationery, household products, fresh fruit, food, textile and fabric, lingerie, handbag, jewellery, confectionary, decorative items, baby products, medicare services among others.
Thai Trade Fair is being organised in Dhaka every year for over last one and a half decades.
