Dhaka: Budget carrier Air Arabia Abu Dhabi announced to launch direct flights to two new destinations -- Dhaka in Bangladesh and Kabul in Afghanistan -- effective August 7.
Schedule to Dhaka will see flight 3L 063 depart Abu Dhabi at 09:00 and arrive in Dhaka at 16:00 on Wednesdays and Fridays while the return flight 3L 064 will depart Dhaka at 16:40 and reach Abu Dhabi at 20:00 on the same days. All times are local.
On the other hand, flight to Kabul will depart Abu Dhabi at 05:25 and reach Kabul at 08:40 on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday while the return flight will depart Kabul at 09:40 and land in Abu Dhabi at 12:10 on the same days. All times are local.
Flights to and from both destinations will be operated by Airbus A320.
Customers can book their flights between Abu Dhabi and Dhaka or Kabul by visiting Air Arabia's website, or by calling the call centre or through travel agencies.
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi was formed following an agreement by Etihad Airways and Air Arabia to establish the capital's first low-cost carrier that follows the business model of Air Arabia and complements the services of Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi thereby catering to the growing low-cost travel market segment in the region.
The carrier commenced its operations in July 2020 with flights to Alexandria and Sohag in Egypt from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
