Biman brings down fares to promote air travel

DHAKA: Biman Bangladesh Airlines has brought down its fares to encourage people to travel more by air in this tourist season, according to a Biman press release issued on November 14.

Passengers can now travel on wide-body Boeing B777 and Boeing B737 on Dhaka-Chittagong and Dhaka-Sylhet routes by spending only Tk 1,500 (inclusive of tax and surcharges), one-way. Return ticket will cost double.

There is 90 per cent discount for infants up to age two, while 25 per cent discount for children aged two to twelve.

This offer will continue up to December 31, 2017.

Tickets can be purchased from Biman’s website, sales centres, through credit card or cash, bKash or Rocket.

The airline operates 28 flights on Dhaka-Chittagong route and 35 flights on Dhaka-Sylhet route in a week.
