Prof Dr. AK Azad Khan felicitated by Ibrahim Cardiac

A reception programme was organized Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital and Research Institute (CHRI) to felicitate Prof Dr. AK Azad Khan, recipient of the prestigious national award “Shadhinata Padak” for 2018 for his contribution in diabetic treatment and saving lives of thousands in Bangladesh.
The function was held at BIRDEM auditorium to honour Prof AK Azad Khan, President of Bangladesh Diabetic Society (BADAS) on 26 April. Chairman of Ibrahim Cardiac Board of Management Prof Mahmudur Rahman, presided over the reception.
The function was followed by a cultural programme organised by Ibrahim Cardiac Cultural Club “Rid Mridongo”.
A Baishakhi Mela was also held in the morning was inaugurated by Honourable Ombudsman of Bangladesh Diabetic Association Maj Gen (Rtd) Prof A R Khan.
