Vietnam urges direct air connectivity with Bangladesh

Vietnam Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh calls on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the sidelines of the Global Women Summit

Vietnam has expressed its keen interest to establish direct air connectivity with Bangladesh.
Vietnam Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh expressed her country's desire on April 28 while holding a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Intercontinental Sydney Hotel.
The Vietnam Vice President said Bangladesh's trade with Vietnam has increased and it (trade volume) needs to go up further. They are interested to establish direct air connectivity or airlines service," said the Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque.
Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, who was in Sydney, Australia to participate in Global Women Summit 2018, congratulated Sheikh Hasina for winning the Global Women Leadership Award.
She also highly praised the Prime Minister for her role in women emancipation and empowerment. The Vietnam Vice President appreciated Bangladesh for its unprecedented development in socio-economic areas.
