Dhaka : Country's Travel Writers Association organised a reunion called Travel Carnival June 2021 on June 25. At the reunion, four renowned travel writers of Bangladesh discussed about their published travel books.
The discussion included sharing of personal experiences of the writers, related information about their travel books and Q&A with readers.
The programme was presided by Ashrafuzzaman Ujjol, President of Bangladesh Travel Writers Association.
Every month such sessions will be organised and will highlight travel features of a country. This session portrayed Nepal as the country of choice for travel.
Travel writer and photographer Homayed Ishak Moon spoke about adventure travelling. He shared his adventures and experiences at Everest Base Camp.
There was another session based on Bangladesh's famous photographer Abdullah and his work.
Utsho Publication's Publisher Mosrofa Selim also talked about country's current travel literature's state.
A view exchange between writers and publishers also took place.
The carnival ended with book sales, autograph and photo session.
