Saudi's Tawakkalna app operating in 75 countries including BD

Jeddah : The Tawakkalna app of Saudi Arabia was launched last year by the kingdom's authorities to help track coronavirus infections. Now, it is available in 75 countries worldwide.
The Tawakkalna app was recently updated to show someone's Covid-19 health status, showing them to be vaccinated or infected, and now functions as a "passport".
Countries in the first phase of the app's international availability include Bangladesh, Kuwait, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Somalia, Morocco, Tunisia, Djibouti, Libya, Egypt, Mauritania, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Lebanon, Nigeria, India, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Portugal, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, the UK, Norway, Austria, the US, Japan, Greece, Spain, Estonia, Italy, Ireland, Iceland, Brunei, Belgium, Poland, Germany, Singapore, Switzerland, France, Finland, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Canada, Latvia, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Malta, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Netherlands, Maldives, and Azerbaijan.
The Tawakkalna App's latest version includes special services as well. The services include transport tickets between Holy Sites in Makkah, emergency SOS and updating phone number. This is in addition to enabling accommodation facilities, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, to manage institutional quarantine.
To support the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to serve pilgrims, Tawakkalna, in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, will enable beneficiaries to purchase transport tickets to Holy Sites.
This is in addition to companion management service. This service will enable the companion in Hajj and Umrah to accept or reject requests to be a companion during Hajj and Umrah.
The service comes to enhance credibility. It will also enable the permit issuer to manage services of beneficiaries with special needs.
As for the SOS service, it enables beneficiaries to send an SOS to the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) and review the status of the SOS. This service will enable the SRCA's team to arrive in the shortest period of time to the location of the incident.
