Dhaka: Biman Bangladesh Airlines will be resuming direct flights from Dhaka to China's Guangzhou on September 14.

The airline’s flight BG366 will depart Dhaka for Guangzhou every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10:20 pm, and arrive in Guangzhou at 4:00 am the next day.

On the other hand, the return flights will depart Guangzhou at 5:30 am local time every Friday, Monday and Wednesday and reach Dhaka at 7:20 am the next day.

On the occasion, Biman is offering special discounts on air tickets for Dhaka-Guangzhou flights, said the airline in a release.

Passengers can purchase tickets from Biman's website www.biman-airlines.com, mobile app, any Biman sales centre, Biman call centre 01990997997 or any Biman authorised travel agency.

A 5 per cent discount on base fare can be availed by using promocode NEWYEAR23 when purchasing tickets from Biman's website and apps.

On the Dhaka-Guangzhou route, the one-way Economy Class fare starts from BDT 30,670 per person, and the fare for a return ticket starts from BDT 50,539.

On the other hand, the one-way Economy Class fare on the Guangzhou-Dhaka route starts from BDT 24,157 per person, and the return ticket price on the route starts from BDT 48,911.

The special discount will be available till December 31, 2023.
