'ASEAN Weekend Theme Nights' begins at Renaissance Dhaka


Dhaka: A month-long Southeast Asian-themed food festival, titled "ASEAN Weekend Theme Nights," got underway at Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel on July 9.
Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Manh Cuong, Malaysian First Secretary Hazwan Hasnol, and Thai Charge d'Affaires Phasit Chudhabuddhi formally inaugurated the event through a ribbon-cutting ceremony held at the property's signature dining destination, Bahar.

The festival, "ASEAN Weekend Theme Nights," has brought an extensive selection of regional favorites, including vibrant salads, aromatic soups, handcrafted street food, and signature seafood delicacies, featuring authentic flavors from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Brunei.
The spread also offers live satay and grill stations, flavorful curries, traditional rice and noodle dishes, indulgent desserts, and refreshing tropical beverages, all curated by the hotel's experienced culinary team to celebrate the authenticity, heritage, and warmth of Southeast Asian hospitality.

"ASEAN Weekend Theme Nights" will be available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from July 9 to August 1. The buffet has been priced at BDT 3,950 net per person.
