ATAB to hold Air Astra BITTE on December 1-3

Dhaka: Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh is going to organise an international standard expo called Air Astra Bangladesh International Travel and Tourism Expo at Bangabandhu International Conference Center from December 1-3, 2022.

ATAB President S N Manzur Murshed made the announcement at a press conference held on November 29, 2022 at the Conference Hall of ATAB Head Office, in the capital.

In his address, ATAB President presented their plan of organising an international standard travel and tourism exhibition.

ATAB Secretary General Abdus Salam Aref informed the media that airlines, hospitals, tourism boards, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, resorts, cruise liners, destination management companies and other travel and tourism sector service providers of over 15 countries including India, Malaysia, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Oman, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Azerbaijan, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, and United Arab Emirates are participating in the Air Astra BITTE.

He also said that by participating in the Expo, business connections and relationships will be created between travel agents and tour operators and the country's public will get to know about global travel information, packages and air tickets.

General Manager Mozammel Haque on behalf of title sponsor Air Astra and General Manager Public Relations Kamrul Islam of sponsor US Bangla Airlines attended the press conference along with other invited guests.

The Expo will run from December 1-3 from 10 am to 7 pm and seminars will be held on three topics over three days respectively.

Also, present in the press conference were ATAB Secretary General Abdus Salam Aref, Vice President Afsia Jannat Saleh, Joint Secretary General Abdul Hamid, Deputy Secretary General Golam Mahmud Bhuya Manik, Finance Secretary Abdur Razzak, Public Relations Secretary Atiqur Rahman, Cultural Secretary Toaha Chowdhury, Atab Executive Member Mansoor Alam Parvez, Maulana Md Khorshed Alam, Sardar Abdur Rashid and other ATAB members.
