AVIET-HANSA completes aircraft recovery for PAL Express in Dhaka

The Dash 8-Q400 aircraft
landed at HSIA on July 17 while operating a flight from Hanoi, Vietnam, to
Allahabad, India. The aircraft required an urgent windshield replacement before
it could return to service.
AVIET-HANSA provided
technical and logistical assistance throughout the recovery process,
coordinating customs clearance, transportation, airport access, technical
personnel, specialized tools and ground support equipment with PAL Express and
local stakeholders.
The company said the
operation involved significant logistical and operational challenges, but the
required materials and technical resources were arranged to complete the
windshield replacement.
After the repair and
necessary checks were completed, the aircraft departed Dhaka safely on August
5, ending an operation that lasted nearly three weeks.
The company said the
assignment demonstrates its ability to provide rapid AOG and technical support
to international airlines operating in Bangladesh. It also described the
operation as a milestone in strengthening its aviation support capabilities and
developing potential partnerships with international carriers.
The successful recovery
highlights the growing role of local aviation service providers in supporting
foreign airlines when technical disruptions occur at Bangladeshi airports.
