Emirates to introduce Premium Economy service to Mauritius from 1 September


Dubai: Emirates will introduce its highly acclaimed Premium Economy cabin on two of its three daily flights between Dubai and Mauritius from 1 September 2026, offering travelers a new level of comfort and choice.
Premium Economy will be available on one flight operated by Emirates’ iconic A380 and another operated by a retrofitted Boeing 777. Both aircraft will feature three-class configurations.
The A380 will offer 56 Premium Economy seats, alongside 76 Business Class and 437 Economy Class seats. The Boeing 777 will feature 24 Premium Economy seats, 38 Business Class and 214 Economy Class seats.
Designed for customers seeking greater space and comfort, Emirates Premium Economy features 19.5-inch seats with generous legroom and recline, six-way adjustable headrests, footrests, in-seat charging points and 13.3-inch personal entertainment screens.
Passengers can enjoy an elevated dining experience, including a welcome drink served in fine glassware, seasonal meals on Royal Doulton China and an extended beverage selection.
Customers will also receive sustainable amenity kits, blankets and pillows designed for the cabin, along with priority boarding and access to a dedicated Premium Economy check-in area at Dubai International Airport.
