Prime Bank holds youth financial literacy seminar at Khulna University


Titled “Financial Inclusion: Engaging and Inspiring
Youth in Banking,” the session was arranged in collaboration with the Khulna
University Career Club. It focused on financial inclusion, responsible money
management, saving practices, informed financial decisions and career planning.
Khulna University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Rezaul
Karim attended the program as chief guest. He encouraged students to take
advantage of opportunities created by advances in information technology,
particularly in higher education, research and career development.
M M Mahbub Hasan, senior vice-president and head of
Financial Inclusion and School Banking at Prime Bank, delivered the keynote
presentation on financial literacy and personal money management. He discussed
balancing income and expenses, developing regular saving habits and maintaining
long-term financial discipline.
He also introduced his “Grandfather Concept of
Personal Money Management” while highlighting changing opportunities and
expectations for young people in the banking sector.
The program included a mock interview session
conducted by Prime Bank’s Head of Talent Acquisition and OD Monowara Khatun,
along with a career discussion and question-and-answer session.
Khulna University Director of Student Affairs Prof Dr
Md Salauddin attended as special guest, while Prime Bank Regional Head (South)
Mostafa Mhamud delivered the opening remarks.
Outstanding participants were also recognized with
prizes.
