Turkish wins Best Int’l Airline recognition in BD

Turkish Airlines has been honored with the “Best International Airline of the Year” award at the TOAB International Tourism Awards 2026.

Islam Gure, Country Manager of Turkish Airlines in Bangladesh, received the accolade from M. Rashiduzzaman Millat at an award presentation ceremony held on Sunday at Sheraton Dhaka on Sunday.

Turkish Airlines began operations in Bangladesh in 2010. Over the years the airline the airline has been able to earn the trust of passengers through its reliable service, extensive network, and commitment to excellence.

Today, the airline operates daily flights from Dhaka, and through its Istanbul hub provides seamless connectivity to an extensive global network spanning Europe, America, Africa, and beyond.

Presided over by TOAB President Md. Rafeauzaman, the event  was  attended by top TOAB leaders, aviation industry stakeholders, tourism entrepreneurs, and diplomats representing various countries.
