US-Bangla’s flights on Jashore/Saidpur-Chattogram, Jashore-Cox’s Bazar begin

Dhaka: Flights of US-Bangla Airlines on new domestic routes Jashore-Chattogram and Saidpur-Chattogram started from September 30 while flights on Jashore-Cox’s Bazar route begin from October 1.
Civil Aviation and Tourism State Minister M Mahbub Ali inaugurated the maiden flights from Jashore and Saidpur to Chattogram of US-Bangla Airlines through a ceremony held at Jashore Airport and Saidpur Airport yesterday.
The airline carried 25 passengers from Saidpur to Chattogram and 27 passengers from Jashore to Chattogram on the respective maiden flights.
Initially, the airline will operate three weekly flights from Jashore to Chattogram on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The flights will depart Jashore Airport at 9:15 am for Chattogram while the return flight will leave Chattogram Airport at 5:10 pm.
On the other hand, from Saidpur to Chattogram, the airline will also operate three weekly flights on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The flights will leave Saidpur Airport at 12:35 pm while the return flight from Chattogram will leave at 10:45 am.
Additionally, from October 1, the airline has commenced four weekly flights from Jashore to Cox’s Bazar on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The flights will leave Jashore Airport at 1:45 pm while the return flight will depart Cox’s Bazar Airport at 3:25 pm.

Including all taxes and surcharges, the minimum fare on Jashore-Chattogram route is BDT 6000 for one-way while the return fare is BDT 12000. On Jashore-Cox’s Bazar route, the minimum one-way fare is BDT 6500 while the return fare is BDT 13000.
On the other hand, on Saidpur-Chattogram route, the minimum one-way fare is BDT 6200 while the return fare is BDT 12400.
Currently, the largest private carrier of the country US-Bangla has a total of 14 aircraft in its fleet including four Boeing 737-800, seven brand new ATR 72-600 and three Dash 8-Q400.
Soon, the airline will launch flights on Saidpur-Cox’s Bazar, and Sylhet-Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar routes.
Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Managing Director, US-Bangla Airlines presided over the inaugural ceremonies of Jashore-Chattogram and Saidpur-Chattogram flights.
High officials of Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, local members of parliament, and district administration were also present on the occasion.
