Le d'or: New address in Dhaka

French confectionery and bakery foods are very popular globally. The unique combination of flavor-taste texture makes these fares simply delicious and irresistible. In recent times, few French confectioners have made their debut in our local food scenario. Le d'or is one of the toppers in this regard.

Le d'or debuted in October 2024, with branches in Banani, Gulshan, Uttara. The latest address is their Kalabagan branch, which opened in July 2026.

The menu is designed by an expert kitchen team, headed by a French chef. It is a rich and tasty array of cookies and cakes, tarts and mousses coupled with savory items like pies and pastas. The menu also offers a variety of bread and croissants. Delicious cheesecakes in different flavors are also one of their favorite items. Some favorites of their menu are MarevaVeloute, Dorabella (pastas), Pistachop Melody, Croissant De Lune (croissant), Poulet Mozza, FocaciaDoree, Rasher Focaccia, Sandwich De Soleil (sandwiches) and so on.

For cool summer treats, one can opt for French Vanilla, Le d'or Mocha, Cookies-n-Creams, Salted Caramel Frozen Tino, etc. A continental menu is incomplete without a variety of pizzas. The menu has quite a variety of which Pizza Rein, Tropical Pizza are popular. Tea, coffee and smoothies are offered in a variety of combos -- Corrato, Affogato (coffee), Chamomile, English Breakfast (tea). There are also different types of Lattes and Mochas and Cream Frozen Tinos.

Le d'or is open from 12 noon till 10 pm. The placed decked up in Tiffany blue décorcan seat can accommodate up to 60 people. Located in a prime location next to the Kalabagan playground (Bay's Park Height, Road 9 Ground Floor), this café has already earned a place in the food lovers' hearts -- both from the neighborhood and the suburbs.
