Otithee Limited officials complete Sabre reservation, ticketing training

Dhaka : Sabre Travel Network (Bangladesh) Limited has awarded certificates to five Otithee Limited officials after they completed specialized training in global distribution system (GDS)-based reservation and ticketing operations.

The certificate presentation ceremony took place on September 22, bringing together representatives from both organizations to highlight the importance of professional development in the travel and aviation industries.

Ln. Saiful Islam Shohel (PMJF), chairman of Otithee Group, attended as chief guest, while Mohammad Saiful Hoque, country general manager and CEO of Sabre Travel Network (Bangladesh) Limited, was present as special guest. The event was presided over by Ln. Brig. Gen. (Retd.) S M Ferdous, director of operations at Otithee Limited.

The five trainees were Md. Firoz Shikdar and Md. Imam Hossain, senior executives in marketing; Sayed Enamul Karim Anam, executive in aviation and overseas; Tausifur Rahman Tanvir, executive in customer service; and Md. Mufidul Hassan, brand manager.

Speakers emphasized that practical knowledge of GDS technology can improve booking accuracy, operational efficiency and customer service while strengthening professional skills across the travel sector.

Dr. Ln. Md. Ashraful Rahman, executive director of Otithee Group, and other senior officials also attended the closing session.
