Café Amazon enters Bangladesh with first outlet in Dhaka

The brand’s first
flagship outlet opened in Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital on August
6, marking its entry into one of South Asia’s growing consumer markets.
The opening ceremony was
attended by senior representatives of Bashundhara Group, the Royal Thai Embassy
in Dhaka, and the Hungarian-Thai Chamber of Commerce. A second inauguration
event was scheduled at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall later the same day.
The launch featured Thai
cultural performances and other entertainment programs and was open to members
of the public and coffee enthusiasts.
Established in Thailand
in 2002, Café Amazon has expanded into an international coffee chain with
thousands of outlets. The brand is known for freshly brewed coffee and its
nature-inspired store designs.
Bashundhara Group said
the launch reflects its efforts to bring international brands and new consumer
experiences to Bangladesh while contributing to the development of the
country’s modern retail sector.
