KOI Thé Bangladesh secures halal certification

Dhaka
: KOI Thé Bangla-desh has received halal certification from the Halal
Certification Department of the Islamic Foundation, giving customers additional
information about the standards applied to its beverage products.
The
certification was granted after the relevant product documents and ingredients
were reviewed by the Islamic Foundation's certification authority.
KOI
Thé, which originated in Taiwan, is known for its tea-based drinks and
signature Golden Bubbles. Its Bangladesh outlets serve a variety of beverages,
including the Hojicha and Black Sesame ranges.
The
company said its approach to beverage preparation extends beyond ingredient
selection, with factors such as tea brewing, sweetness, temperature, ice level
and presentation forming part of the preparation process.
The
new certification comes as halal compliance remains an important consideration
for many food and beverage consumers in Bangladesh. For KOI Thé, the
certification adds an externally verified standard to its existing quality and
product information.
The
brand currently operates outlets in several parts of Dhaka, including Gulshan,
Banani, Uttara, Dhanmondi and Centrepoint.
KOI
Thé Bangladesh said the certification reflects its focus on transparency and
product standards as it continues to expand its presence in the country's
growing beverage market.
