Risotto brings refined taste of contemporary Italy to Dhaka

Dhaka
: In a city where dining out increasingly blends culinary exploration with
social experience, Italian cuisine continues to offer a familiar yet versatile
appeal. At Hotel Sarina Dhaka, Risotto is embracing that tradition with a
renewed dining concept that combines classic Italian flavors, premium
ingredients and contemporary hospitality.
Officially
relaunched on October 8, 2026, the restaurant has introduced a refreshed
ambiance and an expanded menu designed to take diners through the different
stages of an Italian meal, from antipasti and handcrafted pasta to signature
risottos, premium main courses and traditional desserts.
Guided
by the philosophy "Tradizione Italiana. Spirito Contemporaneo,"
Risotto seeks to preserve the character of Italian cooking while presenting it
in a polished, modern setting. The restaurant is positioned for a range of
occasions, including intimate dinners, business meetings, family gatherings and
special celebrations.
Menu
rooted in Italian tradition
The
experience begins with antipasti that showcase contrasting textures and
flavors. Burrata Pugliese pairs creamy cheese with heirloom tomatoes and aged
balsamic, while Carpaccio di Manzo brings together beef, Parmigiano and truffle
dressing. Other starters include chargrilled octopus, garlic prawns and the
classic baked eggplant dish, Melanzane alla Parmigiana.
For those who appreciate a little culinary theater, Caesar Salad Tradizionale is prepared tableside. Soups such as Minestrone della Casa and wild-mushroom Crema di Funghi offer a comforting start to the meal.

As
its name suggests, risotto remains at the center of the restaurant's identity.
The selection includes wild mushroom and truffle risotto, saffron risotto with
grilled prawns, and seafood risotto. A signature version combines Carnaroli
rice with porcini mushrooms, beef tenderloin, Parmigiano and black-truffle jus,
highlighting the technique and attention to texture associated with the Italian
classic.
Pasta,
pizza, premium main courses
The
pasta menu spans several Italian favorites, from Tagliatelle al Ragù di Manzo
and Spaghetti alle Vongole to lobster linguine and ricotta-and-spinach ravioli
with sage brown butter.
Pizza
brings another dimension to the offering. Alongside Margherita and Ortolana,
diners can choose Quattro Formaggi, spicy beef-salami Diavola di Manzo, or a
signature combination of porcini mushrooms, beef tenderloin, rocket and truffle
cream.
For
the main course, options include pan-roasted sea bass, Pollo alla Milanese,
slow-braised beef cheek with creamy polenta, and herb-crusted lamb rack served
with smoked eggplant and rosemary jus.
Desserts
complete the experience with tiramisu, vanilla panna cotta, Sicilian cannoli,
Torta Caprese and espresso-based affogato.
Experience
beyond plate
The
relaunch also places emphasis on atmosphere and personalized service, pairing
contemporary sophistication with the warmth associated with Italian
hospitality.
Advance
reservations are encouraged, with a smart and elegant dress code requested.
Through its renewed menu and dining environment, Risotto aims to offer guests
in Dhaka more than a meal: an opportunity to enjoy the flavors, traditions and
convivial spirit of Italy in a contemporary setting.
