Emirates introduces 4 new measures to make travel more customer-friendly

Dubai: Emirates is giving customers greater flexibility, choice and peace of mind with a range of measures designed to make travel easier, from booking through to arrival at their destination.
From 10 August 2026, customers travelling to Dubai can change their travel dates as many times as needed, free of charge, across eligible Economy and Business Class fares. Economy Flex Plus, Premium Economy, Business Flex Plus and First-Class fares remain fully flexible.
Emirates has also reduced refund fees on flights to Dubai to US$50 for Economy Saver fares and US$25 for Economy Flex fares. In Business Class, refund fees are US$50 for Special and Saver fares and US$25 for Flex fares, giving customers greater flexibility to adjust or cancel their plans with lower penalties.
Across the Emirates network, customers receive one free date change on tickets booked from 2 April 2026, including journeys connecting through Dubai. Customers can also hold a fare for 24 hours at no charge while finalising their travel plans.
Where flights are disrupted, Emirates will support with accommodation directly for impacted customers. Where onward connections on other airlines are affected, or Emirates services are unavailable, customers are rebooked to their destination at no additional cost, including where cancellations are caused by airspace disruptions.
Until 31 August 2026, Emirates Skywards members can also benefit from greater flexibility, more opportunities to progress their tier and additional savings when using their Miles or points.
Emirates operates 21 weekly flights from Dhaka and via Dubai conveniently cover over 140 global destinations.
