Emirates offers exceptional travel insurance with conflict cover

Dubai: Emirates has become the first airline in the world to introduce a Comprehensive Travel Cover that includes medical protection for conflict-related incidents, setting a new benchmark in travel insurance and customer care.
The enhanced travel insurance product, supported by Travel Guard, offers extensive benefits including trip cancellation protection, compensation for baggage loss or delays, unlimited worldwide medical expenses, and emergency evacuation coverage.
A key feature of the new policy is conflict-related medical coverage of up to US$25,000, along with a complimentary trip extension of up to 30 days when required. In the event of travel disruptions, Emirates will also provide additional support, including hotel accommodation, extended stay assistance, and rebooking on alternative Emirates or partner airline services at no extra cost.
Available from 17 June 2026, the Comprehensive Travel Cover can be purchased during booking on Emirates’ website or added later through the “Manage Booking” option.
The service is currently available to customers in selected markets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.
