Emirates wins accolade at 2026 APEX Awards

Dubai: Emirates has been named ‘Best Overall Airline in the Middle East’ at the 2026 APEX Best in Airline Awards, further cementing its reputation as one of the world’s leading travel brands. The accolade was announced at a ceremony in Dublin, Ireland, where the airline was recognised for consistently delivering exceptional customer experience.
Based on verified passenger feedback, Emirates achieved outstanding scores across five pillars - seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment, and connectivity.
Passengers praised Emirates’ spacious cabins, ergonomic seating, and upgraded onboard features across its Airbus A380, A350, and Boeing 777 fleets. The airline continues enhancing its cabins through a major retrofit programme, including the introduction of new Safran Z400 Economy seats and upgraded Premium Economy, Business, and First-Class products.
Emirates was also recognised for its multilingual cabin crew, personalised hospitality, and premium inflight dining experience featuring gourmet meals, fine beverages, and special dietary options.
Its award-winning “ice” entertainment system offers more than 6,500 channels of movies, TV, music, podcasts, and live sports. Meanwhile, Emirates is expanding high-speed onboard Wi-Fi through its partnership with Starlink, with installations underway across the fleet.
The 2026 APEX Awards were based on ratings from over one million flights operated by more than 600 airlines worldwide.
