Qatar Airways Cargo receives CEIV Fresh recertification

The certification
confirms that both organizations meet internationally recognized standards for
the handling and transportation of temperature-sensitive and perishable goods.
Developed in line with IATA’s Perishable Cargo Regulations, CEIV Fresh assesses
both operational processes and quality management systems across the supply
chain.
Qatar Airways Cargo’s
dedicated “Fresh” product is designed to transport a wide range of perishables,
including fruits, vegetables, seafood, meat, flowers, and confectionery, while
maintaining product integrity throughout the journey.
The airline said, the
recertification reflects ongoing investments in operational quality, including
regular audits, staff training, process improvements, and close coordination
between airline and ground operations teams to ensure compliance with global
standards.
Qatar Airways Cargo also
plays an active role in shaping industry practices through its participation in
the IATA Perishable Cargo Working Group, contributing to the development of
global standards for temperature-sensitive shipments.
First certified in 2023,
the CEIV Fresh status is now valid through 2029. The latest recertification
comes as the carrier continues to handle large volumes of perishable goods,
transporting more than 240,000 tons globally between April 2025 and March 2026.
The achievement
underscores the growing importance of specialized air cargo solutions as demand
for fast, reliable transport of fresh and time-sensitive goods continues to
rise worldwide.
