Saudia Cargo adds Dhaka-Frankfurt freighter service to boost Europe trade

Dhaka:
Saudia Cargo has launched a new scheduled freighter service connecting Dhaka
with Frankfurt, strengthening air cargo links between Bangladesh and Europe.
The
twice-weekly service, which began August 14, is aimed at improving shipment
connectivity and providing faster access to European markets through Frankfurt,
a major logistics hub.
The
new route is expected to support Bangladesh's export-driven industries,
particularly ready-made garments, textiles and perishables. It will also carry
pharmaceuticals, industrial equipment and e-commerce shipments, according to
the carrier.
Saudia
Cargo said the service will give freight forwarders and businesses a more
streamlined option for transporting goods between Asia and Europe while adding
capacity to the growing trade corridor.
It
transported over 570,000 tons of cargo across 90 destinations this year.
