Saudia Cargo, Tibah partner to boost Madinah air cargo operations

Dhaka: Saudia Cargo and Tibah Airports Operation Company have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen air cargo operations at Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
The signing took place during the 20th Steering Committee Meeting for the Activation of the National Aviation Sector Strategy.
The partnership seeks to leverage Saudia Cargo's global expertise and Madinah Airport's strategic location, aiming to improve supply chain efficiency and align with the rapid growth of the aviation sector.
Key areas of collaboration include supporting logistics initiatives, coordinating with legislative and governmental bodies, and organizing regular workshops to improve practices and explore new opportunities in the logistics sector. Both parties will also facilitate the exchange of information, expertise, and resources.
The agreement focuses on enhancing operational efficiency through knowledge transfer and specialized workshops, with a direct emphasis on improving customer experience through innovative logistics initiatives.
As part of the deal, Saudia Cargo will offer special shipping rates to stimulate air cargo and export activities in the region. In return, Tibah Airports Operations Company will provide incentive programs to support Saudia Cargo's operations at the airport.
The two companies said the partnership will improve air cargo flows, deliver more competitive services, and strengthen Madinah's position as a leading aviation and logistics hub, contributing to Saudi Arabia's broader economic diversification goals.
