Air India unveils India-inspired new amenity kits

Delhi
: Air India has introduced a new collection of amenity kits and loungewear for
international passengers, combining Indian art, textile traditions and
Ayurvedic wellness with contemporary design. The collection, developed with
luxury wellness brand Forest Essentials, was launched in October 2026.
The
updated amenities are available on flights lasting more than eight hours and
overnight services exceeding six hours, with offerings tailored to different cabin classes.
First
Class passengers will receive kits featuring Gond artwork created exclusively
for the airline by artist Dwarka Paraste. Part of the "Art of Flight"
collection, the designs will use different colors for outbound and inbound
journeys and be refreshed every six months. Forest Essentials products include
facial mist, sunscreen lotion, lip cream, body milk and perfume.
Business
Class passengers will receive kits from the "Navratna Collection,"
inspired by India's traditional nine gems. The Jharoka-shaped bags will feature
coral or ruby colors depending on the direction of travel, alongside skincare
products and travel essentials.
Both
First and Business Class guests will also receive a wooden Ayurvedic Marma
massager designed to support relaxation during flights.
Premium
Economy kits will include hand cream, lip balm, socks and an eye mask in
reusable Air India-branded bags.
The
airline is also introducing First and Business Class loungewear inspired by
Himachal Pradesh's Kullu weaving tradition. The gender-neutral collection
features subtle geometric detailing, comfortable fabric and four sizes,
including XXL.
