Bangladeshi firms showcase apparel capabilities at Paris trade fair


Dhaka: Seventeen
Bangladeshi textile and apparel companies showcased their products and
manufacturing capabilities at the 59th edition of Texworld Apparel
Sourcing Paris, seeking to expand business ties and attract new international
buyers.
The three-day trade fair
was held at Paris-Le Bourget from August 31 to September 2, bringing together
around 1,300 manufacturers from about 35 countries across the global textile
and fashion supply chain.
Bangladesh was among the
major sourcing markets represented at the event, reinforcing its position as a
leading global supplier of finished apparel. The participating Bangladeshi
companies displayed a diverse range of textile and garment products while
engaging with buyers and industry professionals from different markets.
The companies reported
encouraging interactions during the event, including new business contacts and
potential export opportunities. Their participation also provided an
opportunity to explore emerging sourcing markets and strengthen Bangladesh’s
profile as a competitive apparel manufacturing destination.
The 17 exhibitors were
Bnm Garments Industry, Bengal Glory, Comoda Garments, Corus Fashion, Dk
Textile, Ducati Apparels, Fabitex Industries, Fabrica Knit Composite, H&f
Fashion, Hoorain High Tech, Nexgen Apparel, Norban Comtex, Nz Denim, Nz Fabric,
Sim Fabrics, Skylark Knit Composite and Warptex.
Participants also highlighted the Export Promotion Bureau pavilion, saying the coordinated platform helped improve the visibility of Bangladeshi products among international buyers and industry stakeholders.
