Gleneagles Hospital Chennai holds cancer treatment seminar


The session was conducted
by Dr. Balaji Ramani, Director of the Institute of Cancer at Gleneagles
Hospital Chennai, who discussed recent developments in cancer care, including
modern treatment techniques and emerging approaches to improving patient outcomes.
The event brought
together members of the Bangladesh Medical Tourism Association and healthcare
stakeholders for a knowledge-sharing session on advancements in oncology.
Among those present were
Shonath Shetty, Vice President of Gleneagles Hospital Chennai; Shabbir Ahmad
Tamim, Vice President of BMTA; A.K.M. Mofasserul Haq Pintu, Secretary General
of BMTA; and Shushovan Chowdhury, representative of Gleneagles Hospital
Chennai.
According to the
organizers, the seminar aimed to enhance awareness of evolving cancer treatment
options and strengthen collaboration between healthcare professionals in
Bangladesh and India.
BMTA said it regularly
arranges knowledge-sharing sessions with international hospitals to keep its
members informed about the latest developments in medical care and treatment
technologies.
